This year our youngest son and daughter made Christmas cards for everyone in the family…or so we thought.
Here is what we found out:
“I am making cards for everyone for Christmas” is not the same as “I am going to make everyone a card for Christmas”.
On Christmas Eve we all gathered around for the gift exchange. Our son who “made cards for everyone” had a huge stack of handmade cards to pass out. Our daughter who “made everyone a card” had one card that she handed to our oldest son and told him to read it and pass it on.
So in the true Christmas Spirit - Merry Christmas! Pass it on….

Looks like she knows the difference in singular and plural nouns -- she said that she was making "a" card (no "s")
She is the smart one!
